3000 visitors enchanted by Oskar Koller’s work

Thursday 10. September 2009 - 3000 visitors enchanted by Oskar Koller’s work

Ending on Sunday, the exhibition “Light and Color” featured the favorite motifs of artist Oskar Koller. Since early July, 3000 visitors attended the artist’s largest recent solo exhibition.

manroland sponsored the event and invited watercolor and acrylic art enthusiasts to view the artist’s work at the Toskanische Säulenhalle (Tuscan column hall) of the Zeughaus in Augsburg, Germany. In addition to manroland, the exhibition was sponsored by the city of Augsburg, Regio Augsburg Tourismus, the Oskar Koller Foundation, and the Kunstbetrieb Oskar Koller GmbH, supported by the Augsburger Allgemeine newspaper and Palette art school. Art and culture, industry and economy – in Augsburg, these seemingly disparate areas have formed a lasting bond over the years. City and industry work hand in hand to bring Augsburg’s cultural events to life. It is precisely this commitment and dedication, strengthened by the ties and loyalty of local companies that is so essential to urban cultural landscapes.
