TRANSEOMEDIA LTD APPOINTS NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR
Friday 04. September 2009 - TranseoMedia Ltd has appointed Neil Bather as its new managing director, effective from 1st September 2009. Mr Bather, who previously held the position of UK commercial director at the prepress software specialist, brings with him nearly 18 years experience in the prepress and printing sectors, including over two years at TranseoMedia. He is tasked with building on the companys tremendous growth over the past three years and developing new sales channels for its three core products - the Taopix photobook solution, DirectSmiles VDP and cross-media software and Press-senses iWay web-to-print offering.
Comments Neil Bather: “Although only launched in the summer of 2007, TranseoMedia has already grown to be recognised as one of the leading prepress software specialists in the UK market through the development of strong, multiple sales channels, which incorporate some of the biggest brands in the industry. I believe this is a great time to take on this role as TranseoMedia remains a young, dynamic company with a very ambitious sales force that is committed to the UK. Entrepreneurial printers are still looking for great business ideas and technologies that can bring in strong revenue streams and improve margins for a relatively modest capital outlay. All of our products have been proven in the field to offer exactly that.
“In a more apprehensive market like the one the UK is currently experiencing, customers also want to buy with total confidence, so the fact that we are specialists in this area gives us an added advantage over those that offer solutions right throughout the print production chain. The feedback we continually receive from our customers is that we know our products inside out and this gives them the confidence to invest in these technologies.”
Mr Bather says under his stewardship, TranseoMedia will continue to build on the great success the company has achieved by accelerating strategic relationships with key partners to help exploit a range of new opportunities the company has identified across all its reseller channels.
Concludes Mr Bather: “There is huge potential in a number of new markets for our photobook, cross-media, VDP and web2print software solutions. With some exciting new technology developments also in the pipeline right across our product range, we are confident we have the right team and technologies to become the leading player in our market within the next few years.”
The managing director role at TranseoMedia UK was made vacant by the promotion of former TranseoMedia managing director, James Gray, to worldwide CEO for photobook solution, Taopix, for which TranseoMedia UK is the exclusive UK distributor.
