GRAFIPRINT SCORES EXTREMELY WELL ON HP DESIGNJET L65500

September 2009 - Recently Grafiprint print media has been thoroughly tested on the latest HP Designjet L65500 printer with HP Latex Inks, within the scope of the Hewlett-Packard Registered Latex Developers program The results with these environment friendly inks are excellent and the monomeric, polymeric and cast Grafiprint media has been entered in the HP list of recommended materials.
For many years the Grafityp philosophy has been to manufacture Grafityp products in the most ecological way whilst using the most ecological raw materials. It is therefore no surprise that Grafityp did not hesitate to join Hewlett-Packards ecological Registered Latex Developers program. With the introduction of the HP DesignJet L65500 and HP Latex Inks Hewlett-Packard are also introducing their latest green development, a high quality large format printer that makes use of environment friendly HP Latex Inks.
During the tests the HP Latex Inks have proven to be perfectly compatible with the monomeric, polymeric and cast Grafiprint print media. Grafityp can therefore recommend the use of these environmentally friendly inks on their high quality Grafiprint media. The use of the latex inks does not have any negative effect on the media. The adhesive strength stays optimal, the ink is very scratch resistant and causes no excessive shrinkage.
