DirecType, one of the worlds leading providers of image personalization software, will be using its appearance at Print 09 (September 11-16 in Chicago, booth 6446) to present DirecType Crossmedia – a new high-end integration solution which delivers image personalization for print and online applications and web-to-print projects. This new product is an image personalization solution for mailings, personalized calendars and web applications, e.g. e-mailings, e-cards and calendar-ordering tools. The live, web-based creation of personalized images and high-volume, automated generation of images for digital printing go hand in hand. The modular structure of Crossmedia ensures optimum usage of existing resources and integration of automatized image production into existing production workflows.
No click charges Over 170 free motifs
With the Print and Online versions of its software, DirecType will be presenting products specially designed to meet the requirements of digital printers and online agencies. The two versions facilitate the creation of personalized images for digital printing and the live generation of images for web applications respectively. DirecType Crossmedia will be available at $13,999, whilst the Print and Online versions will be on sale for $11,999 each. DirecType Suite – an entry-level solution for small- and medium-volume mailings – will also be available at a price of $499.
These software prices are “all-inclusive” – there are no follow-up costs or click charges. Users also have access to over 170 free motifs. DirecType is available for Windows, Intel Mac and Linux, and facilitates cross-platform work processes. What is more, this stand-alone software is compatible with all VDP solutions.
