Horn Packaging Acquires Worldwide Crating Corporation

Tuesday 11. August 2009 - Peter H. Hamilton, CEO of Horn Packaging Corporation and David R. Gomer, President of Horn International Packaging, Inc., New England's premier company for total packaging and forwarding solutions, located in Billerica, MA, announced today that Horn has acquired Worldwide Crating Corporation of Tewksbury.

This acquisition will enhance Horn’s ability to serve its Fortune 1000 clients in the custom packaging, shipping and freight forwarding of specialty goods both domestically and internationally.

The acquisition will see Worldwide Crating’s operations moved from Tewksbury to the Horn International packing facilities in Billerica. Robert Robar, President of Worldwide Crating, will join David Gomer, and the Horn sales team.
