Law Technology News Wins Editorial Excellence Awards
Tuesday 28. July 2009 - Law Technology News has been selected as a gold medal award winner in two categories of the 2009 Northeast Regional "Awards of Excellence" editorial competition, conducted by the American Society of Business Publication Editors.
Law Technology News received a gold award in the “Best Technical Article” category for “Can You Adapt” (June, 2008), by editor in chief Monica Bay and art director Shane DeLeers. The publication also won a gold medal in the “Regular Column-Contributed” category for “Ball in Your Court” (August and September, 2008) by attorney Craig Ball.
Founded in 1964, the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) is the professional association for full-time and freelance editors and writers employed in the business, trade and specialty press. ASBPE is widely known for its annual Awards of Excellence competition, which recognizes the best in editorial, design, and online achievement.
In addition, the publication recently received two honorable mentions in the 2009 Tabbie Awards competition, conducted by Trade Association Business Publications International, for its “Technology on Trial” articles by Claire Duffet, and for an Editors column by Bay. The cover design for the December 2008 issue of Law Technology News was also named a winner in the 2008 American Graphic Design competition, conducted by Graphic Design USA.
