Stora Enso to showcase its products & solutions at drinktec 2009
Thursday 23. July 2009 - The World Fair for Beverage and Liquid Food Technology drinktec 2009 will be held in Munich from September 14 - 19. Stora Enso will be presenting exciting product developments and solutions of its one-side coated label papers.
Stora Enso will exhibit NeoSet – the new full wet-strength label paper that contains post-consumer-waste (PCW) fibres. By replacing a high percentage of virgin fibre with PCW content Stora Enso responses to brand owners growing interest in packaging solutions with further improved ecological efficiency characteristics. NeoSet, offered in a basis weight of 70 gsm, broadens the impressive choice of modern label papers from Stora Enso that will be presented at drinktec.
Visitors to the stand can also learn about issues that top the priorities list of many brandowners: sustainability, protection of the environment and reduction of CO2 emissions. Stora Enso will demonstrate that labels made of paper are the ideal labelling material in terms of performance, versatility and sustainability. Label papers are 100% recyclable and are produced from renewable raw materials. Thus, they are the choice of preference for sustainable packaging solutions.
Moreover, Stora Enso will officially introduce a new extensive “Premium Label Papers” swatch book, available in English, German, Spanish, French and Italian. It features plain and printed samples of the entire label paper product offering. Excellent print and finishing results for all kind of beverage and food labels will be shown for all end use applications, i.e. beer, water & soft drinks, wine & spirits and general purpose as well as for pressure-sensitive and metallized labelling materials.
