Echo Paper Store Announces Trees for the Future Partnership to Give Back to the Environment

Wednesday 08. July 2009 - 100% Post-Consumer Waste Recycled Paper Store Contributes to our Natural Resources

Echo Paper Store (Echo), an online store exclusively offering 100 percent post-consumer waste (PCW) recycled office paper by Envirographic 100, announced today that they are implementing a program to give back even more to the environment. Echo has established a partnership with Trees for the Future, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to planting trees to help communities around the world.

With this new program, Echo Paper has committed to planting a tree for every case of paper sold through their online store. Envirographic 100 is made completely of waste paper which means it was diverted from a landfill, reduces our carbon footprint and saves our landfills, forests and trees.

“We are committed to offering the very best eco-friendly sustainable office paper, Envirographic 100, for consumers and businesses that are conscious of the environment,” said Rebecca Schoenebeck, Manager, Echo Paper Store. “Our paper is made from used office, home, and school paper. One hundred percent of the pulp is from post consumer paper, which is saving our Earth’s trees, and together with Trees for the Future; we’re putting trees back in the ground. In fact, using Envirographic 100 recycled paper saves trees, water, energy, solid waste and greenhouse gas emissions. For example, 20 cases saves approximately 12 trees from being harvested, enough water to take 254 showers and enough energy to power your house for 33 days.”
