TAOPIX ANNOUNCES WORLDWIDE ROLL-OUT OF VERSION 2.1 OF PHOTOBOOK WORKFLOW AND PRODUCTION PACKAGE

Monday 06. July 2009 - Photobook software specialist, TAOPIX, has announced the global roll-out of the latest version of its end-to-end photobook production solution, TAOPIX V 2.1. The new version has been developed to meet growing international demand for its feature-rich, customisable photobook software.

TAOPIX is a platform that allows each printer to develop a customised business model around the software, providing each unique user licensee with full control over the solution’s shopfront and multiple branding options via a customised client interface; as well as the option to input new product offers, pricing, shipping vouchers and tax setting/updates timeframes. TAOPIX V 2.1 also enables the printer or prolab to configure products to suit specific sheet size, set-up and finishing capabilities including custom covers for hard and soft back albums.

The TAOPIX V 2.1 photobook solution consists of three integrated components: TAOPIX DESIGNER, which enables customers to download the requisite software from their TAOPIX licensee (printer or photolab) and using a simple drag and drop operation, quickly and easily design their own personalised, high quality, multiple-page photobooks.

TAOPIX WEB uploads and processes the order, including shopping basket and secure online payment; TAOPIX PRODUCTION then oversees the job ticketing; outputs the file in PDF, JPEG or TIFF format and sends the order for printing, finishing and dispatch.
