TOGETHER, BTA. 2009 AND HISPACK ATTRACTED 52,884 PROFESSIONALS
Saturday 04. July 2009 - Bta., Barcelona food and beverage technologies, and Hispack, International Packaging Exhibition, closed their doors on 15 May of this year having achieved positive results at their first joint edition.
Given the current economic situation, the presence of 3,000 companies and 52,884 professional visitors highlighted the importance of the trade show as an economic platform for the food and beverage machinery and technology sector, and confirmed this partnership as one of the most important European events of 2009 for the shows respective specialities.

The international exhibition of machinery, technology, equipment and supplies for the meat and meat products industry summed up the common commitment of all the exhibitors to technological innovation, adapted to each area of action.

Tecnoalimentaria, major showcase for technology
The international exhibition of machinery and technology for manufacturing and the food and beverage trade in general succeeded in bringing together the very latest in machinery and technology for manufacturing and the food and beverage trade in over 9,000 m2 located in Pavilion 4 and most of Pavilion 6, turning them into the largest national and European showcase for technology. This once again confirmed the steady progress and technological efforts of the food and beverage industry.
Ingretecno, the latest in ingredients and additives
The international exhibition of intermediate products for the food and beverage industry was a success in terms of participation.
As part of this exhibition, Bta. 2009 presented the Ingrenova Project, allowing the shows exhibitor companies to present the most innovative intermediate food products (IFPs) of the past three years.
International exhibition with business opportunities
Before the Show, the events were promoted in more than 30 countries, concentrating our efforts in priority markets such as Latin America and the Mediterranean region (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Algeria, Greece, Morocco, Tunisia and Turkey).
It is especially noteworthy that the Show received visitors from close to 90 countries. Additionally, during the event, there were around 200 business meetings between exhibitors and foreign buyers from countries in Eastern Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Mediterranean.
Innovation and sustainability took centre stage in the activities
The latest developments in innovation and sustainability were the focal point of debates and technical conferences, with the participation of experts from Spain and abroad.
