Founder is to release version 4.2 of its EagleRIP

Monday 01. June 2009 - Beijing Founder Electronics is to release EagleRIP version 4.2 this month. The modification and improvement of EagleRIP 4.2 compared with EagleRIP 4.01 includes:

(1) Support optional screening EagleFM.
Second-order FM Screening technology using variable dot size and variable spacing, controls the randomicity of dots. Provides more saturated color and better press responsiveness.
(2) Support optional screening EagleAM.
Support 2400/2540/3657dpi and Round and Pure Round dot shapes.
Adopt new screening technology, plus or minus 7.5 degrees based on previous angle.
Better reproduction of gradient shading, overprint effect on tint and skin color.
(3) Update optional screening EagleFAM.
Hybrid FM/AM Screening, use AM (7.5 degree offset) screening in midtones and adopt FM Screening in highlights and shadows.
Achieve high frequency in lower resolutions. Reproduce dots ranging from 1% to 99%.
Perfect press responsiveness and high output efficiency.
(4) New EagleFAM will be automatically installed in EagleRIP version 4.2 for no EagleFAM installer in the new version.
You can input the serial number in the Tool Manager of EagleRIP to activate EagleFAM in EagleRIP. Before install EagleRIP 4.2, please uninstall EagleFAM 2.0 (if you have installed before) and EagleRIP 4.01/4.0 (if you have installed before).
(5) Improve punch mode for Agfa Selectset 7000.
(6) How to install the EagleRIP v4.2 in your existing OS?
First, you need to uninstall the EagleRIP old version such as v4.01. Pay attention to check the option “I would like to keep the parameter templates, configuration and fonts, others please remove”.
Second, run “autorun.exe” file of EagleRIP4.2 and click on “setup” to install EagleRIP4.2 in the same folder where EagleRIP old version installed.
Third, we suggest you to check all the parameters in your template setting to make sure the conversion works fine after installation.
