Thursday 28. May 2009 - Drytac Europe Ltd crowned Fespa Digital, Amsterdam an overwhelming success, after its exceptionally busy turnout and on stand sales boom, thanks to a reported increase of nearly 2000 visitors on last year.

The show saw the European launch of its new wide format liquid laminator, the VersaCoater UV XL range, and the new DES-4 Foam Edge Finishing System. The launches were a great triumph; the VersaCoater XL80 was snapped up and sold on the stand by only the second day of the show. The DES-4 Foam generated a stir among many major substrate manufacturers and wide format display professionals, who were impressed with its innovative features and the professional finish given to substrates, particularly the increasingly popular eco-boards such as X-Board, BeeBoard and many others.

The VersaCoater UV XL range comes in 2metre & 1.6metre widths, and offers both a high speed and economical finishing solution for all your graphical needs. The new roll-to-roll option, the latest addition to the XL range, struck a lot of interest, with its intelligent design that helps beat deadlines and cut costs, along with other advanced features not currently on the market, including a quick supply tank change-over.
Drytac’s DES-4 Foam Edge Finishing System is built from an innovative design, eliminating the need to keep stock of different colour boards, as it facilitates application of Drytac PVC & ABS edging on boards of a thickness ranging from 5mm to 45mm and those of both a foam and solid core-centred display, such as Gatorfoam, Forex, MDF, Foamex & Chipboard and even 10mm foamcore. In addition Drytac have introduced natural edging materials for use with this machine The new finishes include a natural maple wood veneer and a kraft paper finish. The natural maple finish wood veneer is both compostable and recyclable and can be stained, painted or coated with a clear acrylic finish. The kraft paper finish is made of two layers of paper thermally fused together to give it the rigidity needed to apply it to a variety of display boards. This edging can also be painted with low VOC paint if desired. Drytac is proud to offer an edging material that does not compromise its eco-friendliness and natural look.

Drytac are already looking forward to Fespa 2010 in Munich, and were so pleased with this year that they have already committed to an even bigger stand space next year!
