Monday 18. May 2009 - Digital coating specialist, Folex, again revisits FESPA Digital this time in Amsterdam. Whether its materials used in the screen printing process itself or as an alternative to the final printed image, we have the solution.

On show for the first time will be new ES coated materials suitable for Eco solvent inks. The ES coating exhibits excellent image quality and drying performance as well as good water resistance for a tough surface. New products include a polypropylene white display film with a pearl finish ideally suited for banner displays called Folajet PP-WO ES. The decorative display market now has a highly reflective silver metallic, mirror film which creates a truly stunning effect to any image called Folajet SI ES. The fine art market has long required a high performance fine art paper suitable for Eco Solvent printing. Fine Art Paper Photo ES is a 310gsm paper that offers a real alternative and solution for this critically demanding market.

We will also be demonstrating our pigmented range of media. Our key film for this ink technology is for the production of direct-exposure stencil artwork. Folex Reprojet P Ink Jet printable reprographic film is the number one choice. A clear film, available up to 1524mm wide it offers UV image densities of 4 or more and is perfect for pigment as well as dye based inks so is ideal for production work in the typical Screen Print environment. It has excellent compatibility with Epson, Canon, Mutoh printers etc.

For UV inks Folex will debut a new coating for improved ink adhesion onto clear and white polyester films offering a much stronger and tougher image bond to flexible substrates then with uncoated films and perfect for more extreme and demanding applications.

The well established Folex program of films for the production of Membrane Touch Switches is targeted directly at technical screen printers. Here the range includes various surfaces & textures for screen printing and a range of materials for digital printing

Finally Folex Digiprint is a range of coated films for Digital Presses such as HP Indigo, Kodak Nexpress, Xeikon, Canon, Xerox etc. Here we have clear, white, silver, adhesives and cling materials for short run, Point of Sale, prototypes, mock ups etc.

In addition to this busy program we will also have some sneak previews of products still under development which will be launched through 2009.
