China Print 2009: Perfection “made in Germany” by ContiTech

Wednesday 13. May 2009 - With its CONTI-AIR brand, ContiTech demonstrates its printing blanket expertise

Every four years, the printing industry turns to China: From May 12 to 16, the China Print 2009 is being held in Beijing for the seventh time since it was called to life in 1984. With its CONTI-AIR brand, ContiTech Elastomer Coatings from Northeim is showcasing its wide-ranging expertise in offset printing this year. At booth 058 in hall W2 at the New China Exhibition Center, the company is presenting product innovations such as the CONTI-AIR LITHO-HC, the all-round printing blanket with excellent smash resistance for sheet-fed printing, as well as the CONTI-AIR NEON-TR, the heatset printing blanket that is based upon ContiTech’s innovative Air2 technology and has shown itself to be a real pro in large-format printing.

In addition, trade visitors to the fair can find out all about ContiTech’s printing blanket for metal printing such as the CONTI-AIR STEEL CE 11, which was designed especially for coldset printing, is ideal for four-high units, provides excellent color rendition and exhibits neutral paper transport behavior. The world’s only pre-bent metal printing blanket, the CONTI-AIR STEEL HF 10, which provides for substantially fewer printing stripes in the printed product thanks to its design, will also be on display. For the sheet-fed printing sector, ContiTech will feature the metal printing blankets CONTI-AIR STEEL SB 10 and SV 10 for the waterless UV sheet-fed printing.

“The China Print is the printing industry’s most important fair in the Asian region. As a leading manufacturer of printing blankets, it goes without saying that we present our new products, which measure up to the high demands of our customers,” says David Dai, who has marketed CONTI-AIR printing blankets for years as ContiTech’s area manager in the region. “The CONTI-AIR brand and ContiTech’s service have a very good reputation here. We want to bolster our position.”

The China Print is one of the world’s six largest trade fairs for the printing sector and is of increasing importance. The fair is a foot in the door for companies who would like to get started in the Asian market, as the latest products can be found here. For persons in the printing field, a visit to the fair is a must: there were more than 160,000 visitors to the China Print 2005, where 986 companies from 24 countries showcased their products.
