Rockwell Automation Helps Manufacturers and System Integrators Sharpen Skills for Navigating Economic Downturn at RSTechED User Conference
Tuesday 05. May 2009 - Olympic gold medalist Mike Eruzione and manufacturers from a wide range of industries to speak at weeklong partner and customer training event
Speakers and panelists at the 12th annual RSTechED event, hosted by Rockwell Automation, will focus on helping attendees navigate the most challenging business climate in decades and use manufacturing data to overcome the economic downturn.
The annual event, held June 21 to 26 at the Rosen Shingle Creek hotel and convention center in Orlando, Fla., will provide attendees with access to executive speakers, technical sessions, hands-on labs, special interest group discussions, and customer panels. This years event will focus on providing premium education for manufacturing and production professionals from a wide variety of industries. Attendees will share their experiences in successfully leveraging information from their manufacturing environments to improve business competitiveness.
Mike “Rizzo” Eruzione, captain of the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team that beat the odds to win the gold medal in Lake Placid, N.Y., will keynote at the weeklong event. Eruzione will share his thoughts on how to overcome any obstacle and become a champion.
In addition, attendees will hear from more than 15 manufacturing panelists about cutting-edge HMI solutions, historical data collection and tracking, and manufacturing data collection and reporting. Panelists will include representatives from Abbott Diabetes Care, Alcoa Inc., Barber Foods, Flexfab, Genzyme Biosurgery, Georgia Institute of Technology, NASA, Nestlé, U.S. Sugar Corp. and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.
