Friday 01. May 2009 - See in action, the fastest graphic installers in the world, Justin Pate, certified 3M installer and CEO of Carwraps, Inc., Todd LaBrie, in Mutoh’s booth #3301 at ISA in Las Vegas, NV at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center April 16 - April 18th.

Pate has created a system called the Speedwrap module to fit into 3M Sweden’s MCS warranty program. This module is a combination of high quality and speed, allowing installation time to be cut in half with a dramatic decrease in failures for high volume production.

Pate along with Niels Langedijk, Co-Owner and installer from Squeezy, the Netherlands premiere graphics Installation Company, will wrap a Prius in less than 2 hours once a day at 1pm in Mutoh’s booth at ISA to demonstrate the Speedwrap concept live. He will show unique techniques and explain the speed wrap concept in further detail throughout the duration of the show.

Pate will introduce the Squeezy Sleeve to the U.S. market for the first time, which has been widely used for wrap installations in Europe for the last two years.

Full vehicle wraps started in 1994, when printers used to cost between $500,000 and $1,000,000, and installs took 10 hours to do with 2-3 installers. Today, printers have improved: speed, quality and are more affordable with the ValueJet. The materials have gotten better with 3M’s IJ180Cv3.

“The one thing that hasn’t changed is that it still takes 2-3 installers 10 hours to wrap a vehicle. The Speedwrap system cuts the application time in half thus enabling the installation process to catch up with the rest of the graphics industry. The Speedwrap system is the key to high volume and profits,” said Pate.

Learn a simple, yet very effective formula to install material in a unique way that saves time and energy in Mutoh’s Booth at ISA. The basics (squeegee, cutting, and heating) + GTH (glass, triangles and hinges) = GOOD LONG LASTING WRAPS!
