R.H. Donnelley Wins Multiple Industry Excellence Awards at 2009 Yellow Pages Association Conference and Exhibition

Thursday 30. April 2009 - Company Receives Gold and Bronze Awards for Consumer Choice and Business-to-Business Efforts; RHD Leader Also Recognized for Industry Efforts

R.H. Donnelley, one of the nation’s leading local search companies, today announced that it has won three Industry Excellence Awards from the Yellow Pages Association. The awards, recognizing outstanding achievements within the Yellow Pages and local search industries, were given yesterday at the 2009 Yellow Pages Association Conference and Exhibition in San Diego.

R.H. Donnelley was honored with Gold and Bronze Awards recognizing the company’s consumer and business-to-business programs and initiatives. The company won a Gold Award for Select Your Dex(TM), an innovative online program that allows consumers to choose how many and what types of print Yellow Pages directories they would like to receive. Also winning a Gold Award was R.H. Donnelley’s Call Guarantee Program, which guarantees advertisers a minimum number of monthly customer calls as a result of their Yellow Pages ads. In addition, the company received a Bronze Award for its own business-to-business advertising initiative, which included television, radio, print and direct marketing campaigns.

The Yellow Pages Association also presented the Stu Stanze Award, an award for individual contribution, to an R.H. Donnelley executive for her work in championing the industry’s environmental efforts. Assistant Vice President Maggie Stonecipher was recognized for her contribution in working with state legislators to explain directory delivery options undertaken by the Yellow Pages industry and its members.
