Xerox enhances finishing options for production systems; opens up new revenue opportunities for customers

Thursday 16. April 2009 - Xerox has added a number of finishing options to its 700 Digital Colour Press and the 4112TM/4127 TM family of products. The enhancements create more profit opportunities for print providers by expanding the range of professionally finished in-line applications that can be created, such as manuals, calendars, brochures and booklets.

Features now available on the 700 Digital Colour Press and the 4112/4127 systems include:
Integrated in-line Xerox SquareFold Trimmer Module that creases the cover and performs face trimming to ensure professionally finished booklets and manuals. This optional module creates square spine booklets that lie flat for easy handling, stacking and storing.
FreeFlow Print Server version 7, which delivers enhanced colour and monochrome image quality, an intuitive interface for simple job submission and customisable security features.
GBC AdvancedPunch that offers a versatile range of in-line punching styles to create documents that are ready for professional mechanical binding. This automates the process of printing, collating and punching to save time, maximise productivity and lower costs.
Also available for the 700 Digital Colour Press is the option to put multiple finishing options in-line – allowing for greater functionality and flexibility to run a wide variety of print jobs with a single integrated system.
