Zimmerman Continues to Hire New Associates While Most of Industry Struggles

Monday 30. March 2009 - Zimmerman Advertising, the nation's leading retail brand builder and an Omnicom company, has announced the addition of three new employees to its continually growing team.

This announcement comes in the midst of an unprecedented winning streak — including Lane Bryant, Friendly’s, CARFAX, Jackson Hewitt, Pep Boys and White Castle — with more announcements coming in the near future.

Allen Peachell has come on board as a Senior Copywriter. Peachell has more than 20 years of creative experience in the travel, tourism and real estate industries, most recently as a freelance writer/producer.

Jonathan Barth has been added as Web Designer. Prior to coming to Zimmerman, Barth worked for WCI Communities Inc. where he received numerous awards for his creative work.

Shawn Renshaw joined Zimmerman as a Senior Media Buyer. Renshaw has more than 12 years of marketing and advertising experience, most recently a consultant for his own marketing, advertising and public relations company.

Wendy Livengood has been added as Regional Account Supervisor. Livengood comes to Zimmerman from stints as marketing manager at Eastwood Homes and KB Homes.

Karin Bronner was brought on as Digital Project Manager. Bronner worked with worldwide QSR leader Dunkin’ Brands Inc. for 12 years, leading a diverse set of IT initiatives for more than 7,500 franchise locations.

“We want people who live and breathe for this agency and its clients working here,” says Jordan Zimmerman, Founder and CEO. “Some of the best talent in the industry is available in the marketplace right now — Zimmerman is fortunate to be able to snatch up some of that talent to help support our continued growth and vision.”

“Our human resources department spends a great deal of time and effort hiring people that possess the ‘ZNA’ and drive required to fit in and be successful at Zimmerman,” adds Carmen Marson, Vice President/Human Resources.
