bi medien Kiel invests into the future with HUP magazine and book publishing system
Monday 23. March 2009 - bi medien GmbH will continue to benefit from HUP AGs publishing know-how: The company will migrate to the latest generation of the HUP magazine and book publishing software.
The migration from the old “Abocom” to the new “Avasis” system also means the company will substantially increase the number of its employees by nearly 500% from 10 to 58. These will then work with the HUP modules of subscriber management, CRM and document management.
Directly after the presentation Managing Director Rudi Grimm was convinced of the new systems benefits. This was the basis for future cooperation between the Kiel-based publisher with a long tradition and the software developer from Braunschweig. A clear win-win situation because bi medien GmbH develops solutions just like HUP and these can be integrated into Avasis.
The company publishes trade magazines for the building and construction industry. These provide insider information from the practice for civil engineering, roadmaking, pipeline construction, gardening, landscaping and sports field construction.
The portfolio also includes “bi tendering services”, a platform for regional, national and European invitations to tender by institutions and businesses.
