ACCESSPLUS AWARDED ISO 14001 ENVIRONMENTAL ACCREDITATION
Friday 13. March 2009 - Print management and business process outsourcing (BPO) specialist, AccessPlus, has recently been awarded the respected ISO 14001:2004 environmental standard at its Swindon headquarters.
The accreditation, which was confirmed in February 2009, comes on the back of its parent company, office2office being re-awarded the BOSS-EC environmental certificate for 2009, in conjunction with both AccessPlus and its sister company, Accord Office Supplies. office2office itself already holds the ISO 14001 accreditation at a number of its sites.
Says Jason Cromack, CEO, AccessPlus: “The Group places the environment at the centre of its corporate philosophy and takes its environmental responsibilities very seriously. Group credentials in this area are strong and the team here at AccessPlus has worked hard to achieve ISO 14001. Securing such a well-respected environmental standard is recognition of the commitment we have to constantly improving environmental standards and performance.
“This accreditation brings AccessPlus into line with the Group’s environmental guidelines and ensures best practice is being employed right across the various divisions. AccessPlus is now working towards both PEFC and FSC accreditation, so we hope to have more announcements on the environmental front as the year progresses.”
