A festival of printing, advertisement and printed advertising

Tuesday 10. March 2009 - POLIGRAFIA International Fair of Printing Machines, Materials and Services is the biggest exhibition for the printing sector in Poland. Being an unparalleled source of knowledge about printing machines, materials and services, this fair gathers Polish and international exhibitors showcasing the latest solutions and technologies relating to prepress, printing machines or current industry trends.

The Synergy Effect

Each edition attracts numerous professional visitors. In 2007 the fair tohether with OUTDOOR EXPO was attended by 14 thousand fair guests. Last edition of POLIGRAFIA fairs gathered a total of 330 exhibitors from 18 countries, with a net exposition space of almost 11 thousand square metres.

One of the major highlights of next year’s exhibition will be an advertising events held at the same time on PIF grounds. These are: the 2009 edition of the biennial the International Trade Fair of Advertising Goods and Services, Euro-Reklama OUTDOOR EXPO 2009, the Euro-Reklama GIFT EXPO Fair (returning to the Spring season), and the premiere edition of TeksPro, the Trade Fair for Garment Decoration and Textile Marketing.

Leaders of the printing market

Pozna? will welcome a great majority of regular exhibitors – including the most renowned ones – as well as many new participants. They will showcase a broad range of products and services, encompassing machines and devices, materials and accessories, as well as printing services. More than 220 companies have already confirmed participation, but applications are still being accepted. Among exhibitors at POLIGRAFIA fair are such market leaders as: Avargraf, Bobst, Canon Polska, Derya, Digiprint, Duplo, FUJIFILM, Grafikus – Systemy Graficzne, KBA-Grafitec, KBA-Polska, KODAK Polska, Reprograf, Scorpio, Signtech or Xerox.

Programme of events

However, Poligrafia reaches beyond the varied and comprehensive offer of its exhibitors. It also offers an attractive programme of events, developed in cooperation with: the Polish Chamber of Printing, Centre for Research and Development of the Printing Industry, as well as professional publishing houses.

The programme will include:

• Conference of the Polish Chamber of Printing: “Standards in the printing industry”;
• Educational conference: Innovative vocational education as a precondition for modern printing – organised by the Centre for Research and Development of the Printing Industry, in cooperation with the MTP;
• Seminar devoted to crisis management – organised by Poligrafika magazine and the MTP.

During the visit to Pozna?, all fair guests will have an opportunity to participate in special events. For the third time the special Polish Printers’ Village exposition will be organised, aiming to promote Polish printing services. Due to the growing demand on advertising services and the constant development of the advertising sector, the Large Format Printing Exhibition will be held as well, its goal being to promote printing materials and equipment used for advertisement production. Enthusiasts of historical printing solutions will undoubtedly enjoy the RETRO Printing exhibition. Organised by Polski Drukarz sp. z o.o. publishing house, this show will feature historical exhibits relating to the printing craft.

Admission to the fairgrounds

A novelty of this year’s edition is a free entrance after registration online (registration form on www.poligrafia.mtp.pl/en). The fair will be open from Tuesday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
