Tansa Systems launches System 4 of its Text Proofing and Hyphenation solution
Wednesday 04. March 2009 - Tansa Systems, the leader in Text Proofing solutions, today announced System 4. The new version will be shown at the NAA mediaXchange conference in Las Vegas, March 9-11, booth 1710.
With this release, Tansa sets new standards with its server-based text proofing technology. System 4 introduces the Tansa Punctuation Module, a new client interface, support for more software versions, web browser support in addition to the brand-new Tansa KeywordFinder.
Some key features in System 4:
New Tansa Client – The new client has a new user interface where all corrections, unknowns, warnings and punctuation corrections are displayed in a single dialogue window. Less buttons and a more intuitive user interface mean fewer steps when applying corrections. Together, these features save time and ensure better quality.
Support for new software – Includes Mac and Windows support for QuarkXPress 8, QuarkCopyDesk 8, Adobe InDesign CS4 and Adobe InCopy CS4, in addition to support for Word 2008 for Macintosh.
Support for Microsoft Outlook 2007 – Allows you to quality assure your e-mails. Support for Mozilla Firefox for Windows.
Tansa Punctuation Module – Enables customers to define different spacing configurations (e.g. non-breaking spaces, thin spaces, hairline spaces), multiple quote formats and ellipsis, time settings and measurement settings. If multiple dictionaries are in use, these settings can be customized for each individual dictionary.
Tansa KeywordFinder – New solution to automatically generate keywords.
