SCREEN SHOWS SOLUTIONS ACROSS THE BOARD AT FESPA
Tuesday 03. March 2009 - Screen will take the opportunity on stand B140 at Fespa Digital Europe (12-14 May, Amsterdam) to demonstrate the distinct capabilities of two of its high quality inkjet printers, the Truepress Jet2500UV and the Truepress Jet650UV.
Visitors to Fespa will be looking for inspiration, innovation and information in order to provide their customers with new ideas on how digital printing can benefit their businesses. Screen will be able to show how its considerable expertise in imaging, printing, inkjet and digital technology has produced solutions to satisfy the most demanding customer.
TRUEPRESS JET2500UV
The Truepress Jet2500UV is a powerful wide format UV inkjet printer which sets new performance standards for sign and display production. Not only does this technology give superb photographic reproduction, the resolution gives a particularly fine line to text, making it a perfect machine for highly detailed backlit displays. Digital inkjet technology has developed rapidly and Screen is a pioneer of providing printers with high quality, flexible solutions. This in turn enables those printers to work with their customers to inspire innovative and imaginative ideas which can easily become affordable reality.
It offers the ultimate in flexibility with its ability to produce photographic quality printing in both rollfed and flatbed formats. The drop-on-demand, eight-level grayscale printhead supports a maximum output of 1,500 dpi and the photo quality printing is facilitated by Screen’s exclusive screening technology for smooth gradation.
The Truepress Jet2500UV has true hybrid ability which means it can be used for numerous applications on a variety of rigid and flexible substrates. It is designed for markets that demand high-speed and high-quality results and can print up to seven colours, including a pre-white function.
As well as backlit displays, the Truepress Jet2500UV is ideal for a huge range of flexible substrates for applications such as posters, banners, billboards and vehicle wraps. Its ability to print on rigid substrates up to 50 mm thick and 2,500 mm wide lends itself to printing on acrylic, glass, tiles, doors, blinds, plywood, ceramic tiles and corrugated plastic materials as well as vinyl and paper at speeds up to 67.5 sq m per hour.

TRUEPRESS JET650UV
The Truepress Jet650UV is an industrial UV inkjet printing system that combines Screen’s world class image processing and printing techniques with the latest inkjet technology. The arrangement of multiple printheads offers a remarkable combination of high output quality and high productivity.
This machine has a wide range of applications, including industrial materials, sign and displays, packaging, souvenirs and interior products. The Truepress Jet650UV is particularly popular for the printing of car dashboard panels, where precision, visual confirmation and durability are crucial.
It can print on substrates up to 50 mm thick at a maximum resolution of 2,400 x 2,400 dpi. All the advantages and convenience of UV inkjet printing are combined with superior ink adhesion on many types of media enables the production of small runs of variable materials at speed, opening up a world of possibilities for the printer. The Truepress Jet650UV has the flexibility to print on very small pieces of substrate and up to a maximum size of 644 x 594mm wide.
