Raoul Grünthal CEO of Schibsted Sverige

Tuesday 03. March 2009 - Raoul Grünthal is nominated as CEO of Schibsted Sverige from today. The new Schibsted Sverige consists of all operations in the Aftonbladet and SvD Groups.

Raoul Grünthal has been Managing Director of Svenska Dagbladet since 2006, and in the period 2003-2006 he was Managing Director of the news agency TT. He also has background from the financial industry and as founder of the financial daily newspaper Finanstidningen.
 
Gunilla Asker is appointed temporary Managing Director of Svenska Dagbladet. Since 2005, she holds the position as Vice President Sales- and Marketing in Svenska Dagbladet.
 
As a result of the creation of Schibsted Sverige, the positions as Group Presidents of SvD and Aftonbladet are eliminated. Group President of Aftonbladet Carl Gyllfors has at his own wish decided to leave his position.
