Visitors to stand xxx / Hall x will be able to see a range of Primarc’s medium pressure mercury arc lamps and electrodeless microwave bulbs which are suitable for all known UV curing systems.
Primarc will also exhibit their extended series of spectrally enhanced metal halide versions. Metal halide lamps are mercury vapour lamps with metal halide additives which create specific wavelengths of ultraviolet radiation to precision-match the photo-initiator being cured.

All Primarc UV curing lamps are manufactured from high-clarity, vitreous silica, normally referred to as quartz. Quartz has the property of high-transparency to ultraviolet light, particularly at the shortwave end of the spectrum where over 90% of the UV energy generated is transmitted through the quartz. The electrode components are manufactured using the highest-quality materials, ensuring long and reliable lamp life.

Primarc lamps are used world-wide for the curing of inks and coatings in the printing, packaging and labelling industries as well as in a wide range of industrial environments. All lamps are manufactured to exacting standards within the scope of Primarc’s ISO 9001:2000 registration.
