Heiler Software is proud to announce that the Coalition for Cost Savings (CCCS) has selected Heiler Business Catalog to drive e-procurement cost savings for their independent colleges throughout the United States.
Procurement in higher education has historically been very labor intensive with little automation. The approval and ordering process has been paper based, with heavy reliance on the telephone and paper based catalogs to receive needed supplies. This has resulted in higher purchasing transaction costs and less ability to track purchases or negotiate substantial savings from suppliers.
The Heiler procurement suite provides independent colleges a web-based process and catalog data base product through which they can purchase items across multiple commodity listings in one order session. Capabilities in the system include requisition creation and workflow approvals, invoice matching and resolution, and detailed statistical reporting, enabling CCCS member colleges to generate immediate and substantial cost savings.
The Coalition for Cost Savings is an association of independent higher education colleges with a charter to help colleges reduce costs and improve the efficiency of their internal processes.
