Citrix Simplifies Partner Program to Enable Channel to Generate Revenue Faster

Tuesday 03. March 2009 - CSA Authorized lowers the upfront investment required for partners to quickly expand their application delivery portfolio

Citrix Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: CTXS), the global leader in application delivery infrastructure, today introduced CSA Authorized, an important enhancement to the Citrix Solution Advisor (CSA) program. CSA Authorized makes it easier for existing partners to expand their product portfolios and allows new partners to start selling Citrix products immediately with less upfront investment. These changes enable Citrix Solution Advisors at any level the opportunity to sell Citrix Delivery Center products while working toward certification requirements.

“Now, I can generate revenue as soon as a new product is released.” stated Kennith Rindt, director of strategic alliances, for AEC Group, Inc., a Platinum Citrix Solution Advisor. “With these program enhancements Citrix has once again demonstrated that they understand the challenges partners face managing vendor programs and product authorization requirements.”

Prior to achieving certification, partners can earn full margins on the breadth of Citrix virtualization and application delivery products. This allows partners the flexibility to offer customers a strategic, comprehensive solution for their immediate IT challenges.

“By allowing Citrix Solution Advisors to sell immediately upon enrolling in our program, we are eliminating barriers and enabling them to more easily deliver virtualization from the desktop to the datacenter,” stated Al Monserrat, senior vice president, sales and services, for Citrix. “Giving partners the opportunity to architect complete Citrix Delivery Center solutions, grow their business, and reduce the required upfront investment is a winning combination for Citrix and our partner ecosystem.”

Partners who invest in certification can realize the full benefit of the Citrix Solution Advisor program. To make the certification process easier and more economical, Citrix partners can take advantage of low cost on-demand courses and virtual labs, reducing the expenses associated with downtime, travel and classroom training. Only those partners that complete certification are eligible to participate in Citrix Advisor Rewards, an industry-leading program that pays partners up to 15% additional margin on qualifying product sales. Additional benefits including technical support, on-going lead generation, and enhanced visibility on Citrix.com are also available to certified partners.

CSA Authorized will be rolled out in March.
