NanoInk Announces Webinar on Nanofabrication, Tuesday, April 7, 2009

Thursday 26. February 2009 - NanoInk, Inc., a global leader in nanotechnology, will host a nanofabrication-focused webinar titled, "Using Molecular Building Blocks to Create Features in the Nanoworld: Dip Pen Nanolithography," on Tuesday, April 7, 2009.

Dr. Duncan Graham, Professor and Director of the Centre for Molecular NanoMetrology of the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom, will be the keynote speaker for the webinar. He will speak about the creative uses of Dip Pen Nanolithography (DPN) and how this technique generates nanopatterns used in a variety of experiments, including patterns for stem cell research.
Dr. Graham stated, “Modern science is advanced through independent thinking, but often limited by instrumental capability. Dip Pen Nanolithography offers the opportunity to produce unprecedented nanostructures that can be used to influence macroscopic systems and expand the boundaries of creative nanoscience research.”
Tom Levesque, Vice President of the NanoFabrication Systems Division at NanoInk, will present a brief history of the field of Dip Pen Nanolithography and related products, along with specific applications that are practiced in several laboratories. Dr. John Gallagher, also of NanoInk, will discuss the NLP 2000 System, a new and easy-to-use, large area nanopatterning system for research applications and the wide reaching impact that this tool will have upon the scientific community.
