Many other products can benefit from using a built-in dosing unit. Many products – both food and non-food – fall into the granulates and powder category. And the dosing size is naturally adapted to the product in question.

The EasyDose system – invented by Kjeld Krogh Nielsen – won the first prize in the competition “The Best Idea in Denmark” arranged by the Danish Television channel TV2 in 2007. The Danish private company Logidos owns the rights to the EasyDose solution.

The principle of the invention is two built-in walls – and this construction ensures that the correct quantity is poured out of the packaging. It is unique that the built-in unit is made from the same material as the packaging itself and that it is fitted in the same production process as the rest of the packaging. Therefore there are no springs, valves or other fittings which can fall off or otherwise impair the product.

With the new licence rights Schur is ready to attack the market in Denmark and the rest of Scandinavia. Schur is pleased with the possibility of being able to offer our customers this feature as it can improve product quality and thus result in more content customers and end-users.
