Dynamax Technologies, Rocket Communications Take to the Skies With Launch of Internal Digital Signage Network for Monarch Airlines

Wednesday 03. December 2008 - Dynamax Technologies Ltd., a global leader in digital signage solutions, today announced it has partnered with Daventry, U.K.-based Rocket Communications Ltd., a full-service marketing and communications firm specializing in the design and creation of dynamic live events, digital designs, and video productions, to create and deploy a sophisticated internal digital signage network for Monarch Airlines Ltd., the prominent U.K. airline specializing in low-cost scheduled flights, and a subsidiary of Monarch Holdings Plc.

The successful air carrier will use the system, scheduled for a live rollout today at Manchester International Airport, as a powerful internal communications network to facilitate interaction between its headquarters at London Luton Airport, and its hundreds of flight deck, cabin crew, and ground employees stationed at multiple airport locations and branch offices throughout the U.K. Monarch Airlines intends to leverage the new installation to orchestrate a wide range of team meetings, training sessions, and executive-employee communications.

?Monarch Airlines? internal digital signage network is an outstanding example of the power, versatility, and efficacy of digital out-of-home media as effective vehicles for communicating with important stakeholders, including key internal audiences such as line managers, crew members, and maintenance staff,? said Ian McKenzie, chief executive officer of Dynamax Technologies Ltd. ?Furthermore, enterprising firms are finding POVNG to be an ideal software solution for managing all aspects of these installations, regardless of their setting or geographical location. Because of its inherent flexibility for breaking through the clutter of today?s confusing communications environments, digital signage systems continue to gain significant worldwide acceptance and adoption, both internally and externally, among discerning companies like Monarch Airlines that strongly rely on their speed and efficiency for bringing people together.?

?The design and rollout of Monarch Airlines? dynamic internal communications system represents a significant milestone for the carrier?s employee relations team, and another outstanding achievement for Rocket Communications as it continues its rapid growth and evolution,? said Nick Pettitt, founder and managing director of Rocket Communications Ltd. ?There is no question that digital signage is one of the most powerful, technology-driven communications tools available today, but few companies recognize its potential. As a result, it is refreshing to see leading-edge companies, such as Monarch Airlines, fully embrace these distinctive innovations, and fully leverage them to enhance the productivity and effectiveness of core business functions.?

In addition, the Monarch Airlines system will also connect to and complement an already-existing digital signage network that Rocket Communications designed for the carrier in 2007 to display passenger-oriented content at ticket windows, concourses, and lounges in the airline?s locations at Birmingham, Gatwick, Manchester, and Luton airports.

When fully operational, the network will be exclusively powered and managed by POVNG, Dynamax Technologies? digital signage content management, preparation, and delivery application. Rocket Communications supervised the network?s design and technical requirements, produced all of its content, and physically installed the screens and related components. The two companies worked collaboratively to ensure the interoperability of all components, perform multiple operational tests, and bring the network online by the target date.
