IDAB WAMAC shows the new Depalletising Unit DPU 400 at IFRA Expo

Thursday 30. October 2008 - IDAB WAMAC shows the new Depalletising Unit DPU 400 for automatic feeding of printed matter directly from pallet to hopper. The Depalletiser was breaking news at Drupa 2008 as it is a completely new innovation in the handling of copies from pallet to hopper .... making a hard job easy.

The DPU 400 feeds the hopper by lifting off, one by one, batches of printed matter stored on pallets. The batches are moved to a special device that recreates the shingled copy stream and conveys it to the hopper.
The DPU 400 can be connected to any type of hopper and offers an ergonomic and efficient handling of hopper feeding. Furthermore the Depalletiser in conjunction with a Palletiser, can provide a simple and efficient supplement storage system. The supplements are stacked to pallets instead of being wound up and the Depalletiser takes care of the “unwinding”- The DPU 400 has the latest technology available in the market: Laser sensors, vision control and state of the art software.
