PraxisDialog No. 19: Innovative Enhancement Options in Sheetfed

Monday 27. October 2008 - Event on November 13, 2008, 10 a.m. at manroland

manroland will be hosting the 19th PraxisDialog for printing experts and marketing specialists. The theme of the event in Mühlheim: “Innovative enhancement options in sheetfed”. Presentations will be given by top-ranking experts.

As a printing company, how do I differentiate myself from my competitors? As a branded-article provider, how do I enthuse my customers? With enhanced print products, most definitely. Coating variations, paper diversity and new technologies like the cold-foil applications utilizing the ROLAND InlineFoiler Prindor provide almost unlimited scope for creativity.

Reports from manufacturers and users
Arno Dürr, Head of Technical Service at the coating manufacturer Weilburger Graphics, will be talking about enhancement with coating combinations in the dispersion and UV categories. Illuminating insights on paper as a creative printing stock and innovation vehicle will be provided by Franz Stein, Head of Sales Promotion at sappi. Foil enhancement will be dealt with by Wolfgang Burkhardt of Leonhard Kurz, who will be mapping out new options in terms of hot-foil stamping and cold-foil transfer. And Michael Feser, Managing Director at F-Media Druck GmbH, will be drawing on his own experience to relate how as a printer you can delight your customers with the ROLAND InlineFoiler Prindor.

The highlight will be the printing demonstrations in the Print Technology Center. Not only cold-foil transfer in a UV process, but also three coating effects in a single print run with only one coating module. The event will be rounded off by an exchange of news and views.
