Total Success For Autobond
Tuesday 21. October 2008 - Derbyshire manufacturer Autobond, which now leads the world in sheet-fed laminator technology, reports an excellent response to its Mini 52 TPM at last weeks Total Print exhibition, held at Earls Court, London. Visitors to the stand consisted of existing customers and companies new to Autobond, with some printers based as far away as India, Jordan and Poland.
“The international visitors to our stand were already in London and took the opportunity to come to Total Print while they were in the area, but we did have one customer from Ireland who travelled over specifically for the exhibition,” says Connor Gilmore, who was running the Autobond stand. “The ability of the Mini TPM to apply a magnetic material to one side of the stock and a film on the other attracted a lot of attention and several visitors wanted to know if the magnetic facility could be retrofitted to their existing Autobond Mini laminators. This is relatively straightforward to do on-site.
“So far weve already won a couple of orders for Mini 52 TPM laminators from Total Print, as well as new business to retrofit the facility to add magnetic material – a feature that can be incorporated into Autobond Mini laminators and certain Autobond Compact models. Although the TPM (thermal, perfector, magnet) model has only recently been officially launched, we already have Mini 52 TPM, Mini 76 TPM, and Mini 76 TPMH laminators in use in Australia, Canada, the USA and the UK.”
