PIA/GATF Re-Assigns Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming Territory

Thursday 25. September 2008 - Printing Industries of America and the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (PIA/GATF) has re-assigned its Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming territories to PIA Inc. of Arizona (PIAZ) following the disaffiliation earlier this summer of Printing and Imaging Association of the Mountain States (PIAMS).

“The national board recognizes the need to provide continued service to this region of the country and is confident that PIAZ has both the breadth of service offerings and expertise to be an outstanding resource to Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming printers,” says Michael Makin, President and CEO of PIA/GATF.

“We are certain that printers in the region will see the overwhelming business value of joining a new organization which will bring the power of local and national services, including group buying discounts, education and training programs; and government affairs representation,” adds Makin.

The new organization will be called Printing Industries of Colorado and will be run by the current CEO of PIA Inc. of Arizona, Sandi Neuman.

“We are honored to be awarded this territory and look forward to serving the industry in this region with a compelling combination of local and national offerings, including access to the significant technical resources of PIA/GATF,” says Neuman.

Going forward, only companies which belong to Printing Industries of Colorado in the region will have access to the national membership benefits of PIA/GATF.
