NEWMAN LABELLER INCREASES EFFICIENCY BY 20% AT CONTRACT PACKING COMPANY
Wednesday 24. September 2008 - Contract Irish packing company Millmount Healthcare has purchased a CTE350 labeller from Newman Labelling Systems and has seen both increased efficiency on the line to which it has been introduced and an increase in speed of up to 20%!
The CTE350 is a compact, fully automatic self adhesive labeller manufactured by Newman Labelling Systems. Designed specifically for the pharmaceutical industry, the CTE350 can apply a wide range of self-adhesive tamper-evident, anti-counterfeit and hologram labels. This was key for Millmount Healthcare who needed a machine to apply tamper evident labels to reverse tuck cartons, as part of a new contract.
Millmount Healthcare researched suitable labelling machines and based its decision on the CTE350 due to its previous experience with Newman and the excellent value of the machine, as Pascal Keogh, Managing Director of Millmount Healthcare explains: “We have used Newman equipment previously for bottle labelling and have always found the machines to be excellent. Millmount’s aim is to compete on quality, speed and flexibility, so any machine we select must be able to meet these three key demands, which the CTE350 did”.
The CTE350 operates at speeds of up to 350 cartons a minute and is very versatile as it can handle a range of different cartons without the need for change parts. Another big bonus for the CTE350 is its size – at just 1.3m long, the CTE350 is designed to integrate into lines where space is at a premium.
The CTE350 was installed by Newman at Millmount Healthcare’s Drogheda premises in Co Louth, Ireland, and has been fully validated by Newman.
