Labeltronix Wine Label Wins 2008 packagePRINTING Excellence Award

The magazine packagePRINTING chose Labeltronix’ wine label for Shasta View – Armonia Rossa as the 2008 winner of its “Wine Labels – Digital” Excellence Award.

Thursday 21. August 2008 - A stunningly distinguished wine label that Labeltronix produced for Shasta View Vineyards has won high honors from packagePRINTING magazine.

The breathtaking label features a snow-peaked mountaintop reigning over the green of the California vineyard and the yellow-gold of its surrounding countryside. The foothills and peak of Mt. Shasta are embossed giving the label a 3-dimensional look and feel. Gold hot stamped foil graces the label’s perimeter.

“This first place award is an enormous honor for us,” says Mark Gaw, General Manager of Labeltronix Prime Label Division. “It is a testament to the tremendous pride and care we take in our digital printing set-up and processing. Our digital label manufacturing capabilities are fairly new to the wine label market, offering small- to medium-size wineries incredible flexibility, high quality, and label cost reductions,” says Gaw.
Announcement of the award was made in packagePRINTING’s August issue. The nationwide industry publication serves printers and converters of labels and flexible packaging, and folding cartons.

Besides being dedicated to excellence in digital label printing, Labeltronix offers an innovative Lean Labeling program. Using lean manufacturing principles, the program allows Labeltronix to contribute to wineries’ profitability in today’s economy. Wineries can order labels that they need for each bottling date to reduce the chance of waste and get their labels in less than 5 days in most cases. This increases their flexibility and eliminates the need to carry large inventory levels.

Labeltronix partners with wineries and other companies to help them put together a strategic plan to lower their annual label costs using their Lean Labeling programs.
