RBP Chemical Technology Announces Concept 21 5 Star for Newspapers and Coldset Web Offset Printers
Thursday 14. August 2008 - RBP Chemical Technology has announced the immediate availability of Concept 21 5 Star. Specifically designed for newspapers and coldset web offset printers, Concept 21 5 Star is part of the popular RBP Concept 21 fountain solution delivery system product line.
Concept 21 5 Star is a unique, patented fountain solution system that more accurately controls press chemistry. A precision proportioning pump mixes superconcentrated chemistry to produce more consistent and predictable pressroom results, reduce waste, and create a smaller environmental footprint. The Concept 21 5 Star provides greater control of ink and water balance, enabling the press to print more consistent solid ink densities while reducing ink and water consumption. Fountain solution consumption is reduced by more than 50 percent in most instances, and paper waste is reduced as a result of quicker and cleaner startups and restarts.
