Leading Digital Publishing Innovator READOZ, Launches Internet Portal

Thursday 07. August 2008 - Wide Range of Publications Available to View Online Through Advanced Portal Any Time From Anywhere

ReadOz, a leading innovator in digital publishing services, today announced that it has launched its portal making hundreds of digital magazines available for viewing and allowing publishers to add their content ranging from magazines to manuals and menus to the site.

ReadOz Chairman and CEO Alex Shchekin stated, “We have now taken this important step which we believe will be the beginning of a great deal of momentum as publishers look to expand their distribution, content and brand. It is a giant library where we believe that the possibilities are limitless in terms of the type of content, presentation, and accessibility. And of course this expands tools available to advertisers. Not inconsequentially, this is green technology and a major step toward becoming paperless.”

Innovative publishers such as the Tribune Interactive, Putnam Media, Cygnus, Vance and a wide range of European publishers have already deployed their magazines, daily newspapers, and other publications on ReadOz, all with no start up costs. Intuitive tools allow publishers to upload new issues almost instantly and easily manage digital content. ReadOz also offers robust, sophisticated backend data collection, and research tools providing publishers and their advertisers a wealth of information about readership trends, reading behavior, and readers’ opinions and views. Other functionality includes reader service which gets advertiser information rapidly to a reader’s email, the ability to provide advertising hyper localization, direct links to their websites and other flexible features. ReadOz is also helping publishers to cross into the new media by deploying video within digital magazines, opening a wide range of possibilities for advertisers.

Jack Kraft, former Leo Burnett COO and ReadOz board member added, “This can be one of the global centers for people to go to get their information and share ideas. It is also a place where advertisers can reach people and better understand how they behave and what they want, and thereby fine-tune their approach within one of the world’s most flexible mediums.”
