Pepperweed Receives Double Honors from HP: IT Operations Partner of the Year, Support Partner of the Year

Tuesday 05. August 2008 - Pepperweed Consulting, an expert provider in IT infrastructure and process management services and solutions, has been named the HP IT Operations Partner of the Year and the HP Support Partner of the Year for 2008.

These two prestigious awards recognize Pepperweed’s excellence and dedication in delivering IT operations solutions with HP Software to customers for more than 11 years. The awards come just after HP acknowledged Pepperweed for leading one of the largest and most successful HP Software-based IT operations implementations.

Rick Langsford, Pepperweed’s vice president of technology services, said, “Although Pepperweed has deep expertise across HP’s entire software portfolio, it has very strong capabilities in the business service management and infrastructure operations.”

Langsford attributes the operations award to Pepperweed’s proven and innovative delivery methodologies, enabling the firm to lead a major global energy company through the complexities of building a world-class operations center. “This operations center now effectively manages their critical business services and the infrastructure they operate on,” Langsford said. “The Pepperweed approach ensures that the firm’s customers can always expect a high level of quality and consistency in the solutions delivered.”

Likewise, being named the HP Support Partner of the Year in North America highlights Pepperweed’s ability to provide a support offering that truly completes the entire IT lifecycle. The complete solution is a result of Pepperweed’s support engineers each having extensive field-level implementation experience, combined with an average of seven years experience supporting HP Software products in a wide range of environments. Pepperweed support engineers are certified in all product lines of HP’s Business Technology Optimization portfolio. Pepperweed delivers stellar business technology optimization (BTO) support.

Sam Melehy, Pepperweed’s senior vice president of support services and the federal sector, said, “We are honored to be recognized by HP for our success in the area of customer support. A 95 percent customer satisfaction rate shows that Pepperweed support is well received by this customer base.”

Pepperweed was also acknowledged in June by HP for leading one of the largest and most successful HP Software-based IT operations implementations. And, in 2007, Pepperweed was presented the Business Technology Optimization Partner of the Year for the United States award at HP’s Software Universe, a first-time, industry-wide event.
