CGS receives GRACoL and SWOP certification on Epson x880 Series – with ORIS PearlProof Professional Papers

Monday 28. July 2008 - CGS Publishing Technologies International, global leader of color management solutions, digital proofing systems and specially-formulated media, today announced that ORIS Color Tuner has received GRACoL and SWOP certification on Epson Stylus Pro 4880, Stylus Pro 7880, Stylus Pro 9880 and Stylus Pro 11880 printers.

Certification has been granted for Grade # 1 GRACoL on ORIS PearlProof Super, Grade # 3 SWOP on ORIS PearlProof Commercial and Grade # 5 SWOP on ORIS PearlProof Publication on all printers in the series. The ORIS PearlProof family is made to CGS specifications under the strictest manufacturing tolerances ensuring consistent batch-to-batch quality. With their exclusive ultra-fine grain nanoporous coating, ORIS PearlProof media provide double the surface area of common microporous papers thus allowing for higher ink densities, uniform ink absorption, better shadow detail, larger color gamut and faster drying.
