Suprasetter proves to be a Star product!

Star Print has brought platemaking in-house with its investment in a Suprasetter A 74 Computer to Plate system from Heidelberg and it plans to offer a plate bureau service to others in the trade.

Friday 18. July 2008 - Star Print has brought platemaking in-house with its investment in a Suprasetter A 74 Computer to Plate system from Heidelberg and it plans to offer a plate bureau service to others in the trade.

The six year old Northolt company founded by Ibrahim Vallijee specialises in short and long leaflets, flyers and takeaway menus with a strong presence in the restaurant and charity sectors. Much of its work is placed via the Internet.

“Space was an issue we considered when buying this device but also quality and maintenance,” says Mr Valijee. “The Suprasetter is very simple, compact and better than comparable CtP systems and we evaluated three in depth.”

Having CtP in-house to feed its SRA2 Heidelberg press means it has greater control over the timing and quality of plates and given the Suprasetter’s capacity the company is confident it will be able to offer a speedy and reliable service to other companies in the London area.

Its web site (www.starprintonline.co.uk) gives the company’s approach to business: “The philosophy behind Star Print has always been to provide its clients with the highest quality products, at a reasonable price and delivered with the most courteous and knowledgeable service possible”

The Suprasetter will help it to do just that.
