Spandex Introduces Two New Infopanel Clip Systems And Announces Innovations To The Classic C-Fix Range.

Spandex’s popular C-Fix system now offers a refreshingly modern approach to plain and simple signs and allows sign companies and their customers to choose the sheet substrate in both size and shape.

Friday 20. June 2008 - Systems for both rigid sheets and glass enhance existing range

Spandex, the pioneering one-stop supplier of complete and innovative solutions to the digital printing, sign making and imaging industries worldwide, has announced another expansion to its Sign Systems range. Two new Infopanel clips, one for rigid sheets the other for glass, have been added to the extensive range, while innovative changes to the company’s classic C-Fix range have also been introduced. Both systems form part of the exterior range of sign systems and are already helping sign companies win new orders.

The Infopanel Rigid Sheet Clip allows flat rigid substrates to be fixed to all existing Signpole and Signpost profiles providing an economic alternative to current systems whilst retaining the robustness of the Signpoles and Signposts. Available in two formats, 3.3 and 5.3mm, the clip works with a range of rigid sheet panels including aluminium sheet, Dibond, foam board, acrylic and many others. When using the rigid sheet clips the sign does not have any extra fixings or rails, which offers an added benefit for trouble free graphic application to both sides.

The Infopanel Glass Clip is ideal for both internal and external signs and is suitable for glass up to 8mm thick. It is fitted with an internal protective gasket and silicon coated spacer bar to prevent damage to the glass surfaces and provide a secure non-slip positioning. This simple-to-use clip system is compatible with Signpole 55, 80, 140 and Duoline using two spacer bars and a locating screw.

The C-Fix system has, for years, been regarded as a fingerpost only wayfinding system. Thanks to enhancement of key components, the system can now offer a refreshingly modern approach to plain and simple signs. Again, as with the Rigid Sheet and Glass Clip systems, sign companies and their customers have the freedom to choose the sheet substrate in both size and shape.

In addition, economic pricing is a feature of both product lines. “These two systems fit neatly in between both ends of the freestanding post and panel market as a viable alternative offering style and economy.” says David Catanach, Spandex UK’s Business Manager for Sign Systems.

The systems are easy to fabricate and present a variety of shapes, sizes and colours. Furthermore, if fabricating metal signs isn’t part of a sign company’s portfolio, they can still sell these products by liaising with one of Spandex’s Sign System Centres. Sign System Centres are Spandex’s specialized partners who can fabricate signs on behalf of sign companies at very competitive prices.

David Catanach adds “Spandex now has by far the widest choice of profiles for flat and curved systems available to sign companies allowing them to offer a range of finished products at very economic prices. Signs using these components are already out there making money for sign companies. We continue to investigate viable designs and products to add to Spandex’s established and industry recognized leading systems.”
