Citrix Wins CODiE 2008 Corporate Achievement Award

Thursday 12. June 2008 - Citrix’s Application Delivery Infrastructure Recognized for Innovation within the Software and Information Industries

Citrix Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: CTXS), the global leader in application delivery infrastructure, today announced that it has been honored by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) with a special Corporate Achievement Award for its commitment to driving innovation, development and growth within the software and information industries. As the only peer-reviewed awards within the software and content industries, the 23rd Annual CODiE Awards enlist an extensive three-round voting process to review over 1,000 nominations, recognizing leading product and service winners in over 76 categories. Citrix joins previous Corporate Achievement Award winners including eBay, Inc. and the eBay Developers Program, salesforce.com and Adobe Systems Incorporated.

Citrix has long been the global leader in application delivery. Its Citrix Delivery Center product family uses advanced virtualization and networking technologies to help enterprise customers improve the performance, security and cost of delivering corporate applications and desktops to end users, while its Citrix Online Services products make it easy for consumers and small businesses to access desktops and share applications online. In an era where businesses run on applications, the company has been spearheading a mindset change with customers and partners to use application delivery as a catalyst for change within their organizations to better address external market forces such as globalization, compliance, and IT modernization.

“The 2008 CODiE Awards recognize those companies providing the best new technology products and services across a broad array of industries,” noted SIIA President Ken Wasch. “The awards and their winners are a testament to the power of technology to deliver innovative solutions to American businesses and consumers. SIIA congratulates all of the CODiE Award winners and nominees, whose innovation is essential for continuing America’s leadership in the global knowledge economy.”

“This prestigious recognition from SIIA is a clear validation of Citrix’s deep commitment to addressing application delivery challenges across all applications, networks and user scenarios,” said Wes Wasson, senior vice president and chief marketing officer, Citrix Systems. “Our goal is to help customers of all sizes address the profound cultural changes they are facing in the business and economic environment in a way that reduces costs and enhances business agility.”
