Wrap-N-Pack Acquires Third Company Within Past Twelve Months

Tuesday 10. June 2008 - Sheldon Weinreb, President of Wrap-N-Pack, Inc., a premier distributor of industrial packaging solutions, announced the acquisition of The Freight Container Company, Inc., of Maspeth, New York. Founded in 1952, Freight Container is a well-known supplier of corrugated packaging materials, servicing the New York metropolitan area.

The acquisition of Freight Container adds an already significant presence to Wrap-N-Pack’s existing sales base. Weinreb said, ” In addition to building our existing customer base, the acquisition will add many new items to our current inventory, expanding our ability to offer customers a wide range of packaging solutions.”

Wrap-N-Pack selected Long Island based Equity Transfers Advisory Services, Inc. to help guide it through the multi-faceted transaction. Wrap-N-Pack continues to seek value-added acquisitions in the New York metropolitan area that specialize in packaging materials as well as related industries. Freight Container represents Wrap-N-Pack’s tenth acquisition and its third acquisition within the past year. Recently Wrap-N-Pack had acquired Bathroom and Towel Systems and DP Winne Company / All Star packaging.
