Above and beyond this, OKI Printing Solutions and selected partners are presenting complementary solutions for printing and then further processing small colour-consistent print runs.

Overview of OKI printing solutions at the DRUPA 2008:

Innovative solution for cost-effective digital roll printing of small print runs: OKI DP 8500

In cooperation with Degrava Systems LLC, OKI Printing Solutions at the DRUPA 2008 are presenting a world first for endless label printing, the OKI DP 8500. This printing solution provides customers at printing houses or in the packaging industry with high performance at low investment costs in a wide range of applications. Whether for the professional production of labels, stickers or other endless media. With the combination of the reliable LED colour printing process from OKI and the mechanical systems and software of Degrava, efficient media processing is possible from roll to roll for paper lengths of up to 127 metres in a single print job. In group printing with different assignments, lengths of as much as 304 metres can be reached.

Premium in-house publishing with the OKI C9800 series

With the printer and MFP generation of the C9800 series, OKI is setting the standards for high-performance, cost-effective in-house colour printing and efficient document management. The two C9800 colour printer models and a multi-functional colour device are not just compelling in terms of their impressive print rate of 36 colour A4 pages or 40 black and white A4 pages per minute. Their improved performance characteristics furthermore ensure brilliant colour, professional print results and the highest degree of user comfort.
In addition to this, the C9800 MFP fulfils all requirements for cost-effective and professional printing, scanning, copying and faxing.

Colour-consistent proofs, print-on-demand and professional graphic arts: the OKI ES3640XF series

With the Executive series ES3640XF, OKI Printing Solutions presents a tailor-made solution for colour-consistent print-on-demand of small print runs, especially for graphic design and publishing professionals. Various media up to A3NOBI size can be processed on this system, and a wide array of print jobs can be handled in-house, e.g. double-sided brochures, business cards, flyers, folded leaflets and banners up to 1.2 metres long. With the EFI Colorproof XF software application, the three colour printer models have an integrated modular Adobe PostScript 3 RIP with ICC colour management, which makes them ideal for printing quick and cost-effective content and layout proofs.

OKI partner solutions complete the OKI graphic
arts portfolio

Together with selected partners, OKI Printing Solutions provides e.g. in-house book binding solutions, where visitors to the convention can get a personalised cookbook, professionally printed and bound. Furthermore, a modern web-to-print solution demonstrates how quick and easy high-quality and individualised merchandising articles such as posters or autograph cards can be produced.
With EFI Proofing Solutions, OKI also provides a professional solution for colour and document management, using which graphic design offices, proof printing businesses and publishers can profit from improved workflows.
For another thing, a user-friendly personal proof solution can be marvelled at, targeted at graphic designers in the Mac environment. It allows proofs to be printed directly with the cost-effective OKI colour printers of the C5000 (A4) and C8000 (A3) series. Furthermore, it also makes it very easy for users to create the PDF files so frequently needed in the proof stage.
OKI also makes numerous attractive solutions available for use in printing 1.2 metre long banners, which can readily be produced using OKI colour printers. These include banner holders and light displays, for example, for perfect presentation at the POS.

Tailored full-service printing for graphic arts users with the OKI Printer Flatrate
