RENA triumphs with a New Generation of Printheads

Thursday 29. May 2008 - The RENA Rocket of the 2007 Edition combines the best of different worlds: speed, high resolution and low-cost solutions for the digital printing market. This new generation of printheads offers exceptional print quality in mailing systems.

In 2007, the RENA Team was celebrating the premiere of RENA Rocket together with a professional audience in Rome. This new generation of printheads convinces with a first-class and stepwise adjustable print quality of up to 1,200 dpi. As a consequence, a broad range of possible applications for any kind of graphics is provided. The RENA Rocket is considered a productive specialist in the field of direct marketing for upmarket requirements. At a print speed of up to three metres per second, fast, efficient print jobs are guaranteed.
The RENA Rocket is suitable for the integration into existing systems and can be also used as Stand-Alone on RENA Base.

A printing width of approximately 107 mm enables manifold utilisations. The application possibilities of the RENA Rocket range from classic post messages with a personal salutation and addressing over to catalogues, forms, invoices and other personalised mass mailings. A direct sales approach may hardly be of higher value. The service station cleans the printhead fully automatically and enables optimum maintenance of the print module at any time, increasing its service life.

The RENA Rocket is provided with an economic ink tank system which assures continuous production runs. Thanks to two 775 ml-capacity cartridges which operate mutually independently, cartridge exchange may be performed during running print operation. The current ink level may be read-off; the operator is informed by the system in case cartridge exchange becomes necessary. Beside a black pigmented ink which is characterised by an outstanding performance of optical density on porous and semi-porous paper, various other inks are available.
