IBM Celebrates the 15th Birthday of WebSphere MQ with Connectivity in Action

Wednesday 28. May 2008 - June 4th virtual conference to celebrate IBM's landmark messaging product

15 years ago IBM debuted its MQSeries, a revolutionary product that made it possible for computer applications to communicate with each other. Today IBM is on the 7th version of WebSphere MQ, which “provides a Universal Messaging Backbone for SOA to connect virtually any commercial IT system,” according to its creators.

To celebrate WebSphere MQ’s role in integration history, IBM has teamed up with ebizQ to present the Connectivity in Action Virtual Conference, a one-day interactive event. Attendees at the June 4th conference can hear presentations from – and interact with – leading industry experts and customers discussing connectivity solutions.

The Connectivity in Action event will include a panel discussion with senior IBM technical staff, and keynote by Larry Fulton, Senior Analyst at Forrester Research. The virtual environment is highly interactive so that conference goers can network with other attendees and IBM insiders.
