Inkjet & Digital Printing

At Drupa Xennia invites you to see production ready fixed array industrial inkjet printers using the Xaar 1001 printhead

Thursday 22. May 2008 - Xennia is proud to announce and showcase at Drupa important fixed array inkjet platforms based on Xaar’s revolutionary 1001 printhead. The systems have been designed for high reliability and productivity and to operate in tough, unforgiving industrial environments.

Xennia will be demonstrating two systems on our stand (Hall 7a, Stand C09).

The XenJet X-treme 9000 is a CMYK, 560mm fixed array single pass production printer, operating at 24m/min. This system has initially been designed for ceramic tile printing for our partner Creta Print of Spain and has received wide acclaim at the recent Cevisama show in Valencia. The XenJet X-treme is ready and suitable for commercialisation for a range of production line printing applications.

The XenJet X-plore 8000 is a CMYK, narrow web printer operating at 24m/min across a 280mm print area. The XenJet X-plore is designed for integration into existing OEM reel to reel and web based motion stages, helping OEM customers to accelerate product development times and implement inkjet for a wide range of narrow web applications.

Both systems use Xennia’s proprietary recirculating ink system developed for the Xaar 1001 print head and are driven by powerful software. They will be demonstrated at Drupa at the following times, each weekday:

XenJet X-treme 9000 fixed array production                           10.30am, 1.30pm, 3.30pm
XenJet X-plore 8000 single pass narrow web printer               11.30am, 2.30pm, 4.30pm

In recognition that inkjet success arises from a strong partnership with a common inkjet understanding, Xennia will hold a programme of free seminars based on the popular Inkjet Academy course. The Inkjet Academy is a joint venture between Xennia and Pivotal Resources, promoted by Information Management Institute (IMI), that provides a technical insight into inkjet technology.

This seminar will be held on the stand at 4.00pm each day. Refreshments will be provided to keep your Drupa mind fresh.

The XenJet X-treme and XenJet X-plore represent part of an expanding Xennia portfolio of industrial inkjet platforms. If you would like a glimpse into these and other exciting breakthrough developments for industrial inkjet markets including; textiles, product decoration and packaging please call at Hall 7a, Stand C09.
