Another Inspection System for Wipf AG

Wednesday 21. May 2008 - The Wipf AG in Volketswil, Switzerland has specialized in the development and manufacture of high-barrier packaging laminates made of plastics with aluminum foil or other barrier layers for the food and pharmaceutical industries as well as for non-food products.

Wipf AG supplies most composite films in reels or possesses the material in its ultra-modern pouching division.

To ensure the print quality Wipf AG has ordered a Futec 100% inspection system for a modern gravure press in 2007. After this first successful installation
Wipf AG now purchased their second 100% inspection system from Futec. The new system checks the quality on a slitter.

Printed and laminated materials will be fully inspected by the inline system for print and material defects.

In addition, the quality control is supported by the EasyMax MC network.
